PUT YOUR PROPERTY IN PERSPECTIVE

When you are selling your property you have to put it into perspective for the internet, newspaper advertisements and sales documents. If possible you should take the pictures with a single-lens reflex camera (SLR) and without flash because that often seems too hard. It's better to take pictures with a continuous light system in daylight quality because otherwise pictures could turn yellowish.

It is well-known that extreme wide-angle lenses, as distortion free as possible, show a lot of the property, put small rooms into perspective and give the relevant room a feeling of width.

A trick to avoid aberrant lines is, even if one doesn't have shift-lenses or view cameras which are intended for architecture photography, to take pictures of the object in a strong wide angle in portrait format and to position the object high up in the picture and finally cut them to size with an image editor.

It's also important not to ignore details. These details can be plastically highlighted by using telephoto lenses (with open aperture). A slightly blurred background creates an atmospherical picture of the room.

Therefore, this is my Immotip for you: Draw the attention on the object with good pictures when selling your property, whether it's in publications or online. We are equipped with a SLR system with wide-angle lenses, continuous light with daylight quality etc. and will be happy to assist you!
