Reichenau is located in the east of Innsbruck. This popular residential area in Innsbruck has a population of 12,133 and covers an area of 1.01 square kilometres. In 2014, the district had 480 buildings. The number of buildings has risen sharply since then, as more and more people are discovering the liveable district for themselves as a residential area.

Arzl is located in the north-east of the Tyrolean capital. This district has 11,162 inhabitants living on 21 square kilometres. In 1940 Arzl gave up its independent village status and was incorporated into Innsbruck. Before that Arzl was an independent village with a lot of agricultural use. It has retained its village character to this day.
