I was recently on the Innsbruck city tower and could enjoy a wonderful view of the city there.

In my time as an estate agent in Tyrol, I can look back on many satisfied property buyers. However, the most satisfied customers are probably those in the most beautiful parts of Innsbruck, such as sunny Hötting or the historic old town.

Hötting: Innsbruck's most popular district for flat and property searches

Together with Wilten, Hötting has the oldest traces of settlement. As early as the Bronze Age, people seem to have recognised the top location and used it for their own purposes. Somewhat elevated, you have a wonderful view of the city and the Nordkette from this part of town.

When I, as a real estate agent in Tyrol, ask people looking for a flat why they are looking for a property or a plot of land in Hötting, I usually hear the same 3 arguments.

3 reasons for a property in Hötting

Reason #1: Hötting is not too central, but is still part of the city. From Hötting you can still easily walk to the city centre, but you are no longer so centrally located that you are disturbed by the constant traffic noise or crowds of tourists.

Reason #2: Hötting is made for families. The traffic-calmed streets, kindergartens, a primary school and many sports facilities offer many families exactly what they are looking for.

Reason #3: The location at the foot of the Nordkette mountain range attracts sports-loving couples and singles, active families and adventurous seniors alike. From Hötting you can reach the Hungerburg in a short time - the ideal starting point for hiking and skiing days.

You have a property in Hötting but are not a fan of this district?

Then I can only advise you to rent or sell your property. The easiest way to do this is with an estate agent from Innsbruck who is familiar with the local market prices. This way he can make sure that you do not sell or rent your property below value.

We at Arealita know the Tyrolean real estate market and know what prices we can charge you. You are welcome to get an idea of us during a non-binding initial meeting.
