Overview of additional costs
In the downloadable overview of additional costs when buying or selling a property, you will find additional costs that affect buyers on the one hand and sellers on the other.

In terms of the number of ancillary cost items , the majority lie with the buyer of a property and are usually made up of estate agent's commission, land transfer tax, land registry registration fee and contract preparation costs. Calculate a total of approx. 10% to 11% of the purchase price achieved for your property.

In terms of the number of ancillary cost items, the number for the seller of a property is lower, as these usually consist of an agent's commission and, at most, real estate income tax. In terms of amount , however, the real estate income tax can make up a higher total of anc illary costs than all the ancillary costs on the buyer's side together.

You will find an overview in the ancillary costs PDF, which you can download on this page. Every estate agent should send you this overview of the ancillary costs to be expected when buying or selling a property when submitting property documents or hand it out to you at the latest during an appointment on your premises or in the estate agent's office.

Please note that this information can in no way replace a personal consultation with a real estate agent of your choice, based on the individual business case! Because every property is different and therefore your property is also unique! Ask your real estate agent about the ancillary costs during the real estate property enquiry or at a consultation appointment!
