Easter Sunday is fast approaching and the Easter events have started in Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. On Palm Sunday, I went to the Easter market in the old town and had a look around. I also took a little tour through Innsbruck and photographed some beautiful Easter decorations.
In this post, I would like to take you on my little trip and show you a few of the highlights.
Easter Market in Innsbruck: Egg Hunt in the Old Town
There was a lot going on at the Innsbruck Easter Market at the weekend: Palm Sunday attracted many residents and tourists to the city. Innsbruck's mayor Georg Willi also smiled into the cameras of some journalists in front of the Golden Roof.
My Easter photo tour continued in Maria-Theresien-Straße, where children and adults photographed the huge, colourfully painted Easter eggs. A feather-decorated musician from the Höttinger Musikkapelle sneaked into my picture of an Easter egg.
Innsbruck in Easter garb: This is how the people of Innsbruck decorate their homes
After my round through the city, I walked into quieter parts of town. Again and again I came across houses, flats and gardens decorated for Easter.

The Easter decorations in the office of our real estate agents in Innsbruck on Kaiserjägerstraße are still a little sparse. Nevertheless, the hen enjoys her sunny spot on our table.
Easter time is real estate selling time
As a real estate agent in Tyrol, the Easter season means a bit more work for me. Because spring is the ideal time for real estate and property owners to sell. Why is that? You can read about it in the article "Recognising the perfect time to sell: 3 insider tips from an estate agent".
So if you would like to sell a property or a plot of land during this time, you are welcome to contact us for a free initial consultation. You can reach us by phone(+ 43 512 580 242 ) , by e-mail(immobilien@arealita.at) or via our contact form(click here).
My team and I wish you a wonderful Easter and a relaxing holiday!
With kind regards
Yours, Bernhard Großruck
