If you've been following our blog for a while, you may remember this post in December: "Impressions of a flat handover: Old building flat in Saggen".

Since then, much - not to say everything - has changed in the Gründerzeit building in Kapuzinergasse.

With great attention to detail and craftsmanship, the young buyer couple - Tamara and Suna - were able to completely renovate the flat - in just 3 months!

What did the flat look like when you bought it?

In Kapuzinergasse in Innsbruck we sold this flat in need of renovation to a young couple in December. What does "in need of renovation" mean? Wall coverings were torn, there was no flooring and the doors were also missing.

What has happened since the keys were handed over?

During the 3 months of renovation, the new owners have redivided the flat: Kitchen and living room were combined. The bathroom and toilet are now located in the flat's former storage room.

The walls got a new coat of paint, a gas connection was installed and the electricity was renewed.

As a trained master painter, Suna not only took over the wall design, but also the craftsmanship and organisation on the construction site.

In the meantime, the couple has completely furnished their new flat with new furniture and a new kitchen.

Modern flat with old building flair: This is how it looks now!

During the renovation and also when choosing the furnishings, one thing was particularly important to Tamara: the flat's old-building charm was to be preserved at all costs! After all, the high and spacious rooms were a decisive factor for the couple in buying the flat.
