Further training for real estate agents: series of lectures on the WEG amendment

As a real estate agent in Tyrol and, above all, a court expert, I always have to stay up to date regarding real estate and real estate law. That is why I took part in a training course on 4.4.2022.

In this article I will tell you what this training was about and what I was able to take away from it.

Real Estate Dialogue" lecture series at the University of Innsbruck

The training took place at the University of Innsbruck. The topics were interesting for flat owners as well as flat buyers and sellers.

I attended the lecture on the new regulations of the condominium owner's right of modification. This lecture was part of the lecture series "Real Estate Dialogue", organised by the Chamber of Commerce.

The lecture was given by Associate Professor Raimund Pittl, who 20 years ago was the supervisor of my diploma thesis on the topic "Interessenswahrungspflichten des Immobilienmaklers" at the then Institute for Housing and Real Estate Law.

Numerous attorneys, lawyers, property managers, property developers and real estate agents from all over Tyrol accepted the invitation. Among other things, they discussed the new provisions regarding the fictitious consent as well as other amendments to the Condominium Act (WEG).

Afterwards, there was the opportunity for an exchange of ideas between university and practice, where I was able to take away and discuss many interesting ideas.
