The Media Day at the University of Innsbruck could take place on 18 November 2021 in Präsenz.
The topic of the event: "DataPolitics - dealing with data in the digital age".
As a real estate agent, I am very present on the net and also know the necessity of online marketing in this day and age. To ensure that I look after and represent my clients and their data in the best possible way on the net, I brought my knowledge up to date at the Media Day 2021.
The event consisted of keynote speeches followed by a panel discussion of the speakers.
The speakers included: Hermann Petz (CEO Moser Holding AG), Stefan Wacker (Managing Director Wacker.IT), Clemens Pig (CEO APA, pictured below) and many more.
The focus was on the digital handling of data and the associated opportunities for companies and risks for private individuals. It was discussed how the tension between security and freedom in dealing with data can be managed. Whether legal regulation was the only true solution to the data problem. In the end, all speakers agreed that a political reaction to the current events is necessary.
I found the media day at the University of Innsbruck very informative and educational. For years, I have been actively involved in the topic of digitalisation and make a point of always being up to date. This way I can ensure that I represent my clients, their data and their properties properly on the net.
